Who we are

Monolithic Recovery Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides safe, sober transitional living homes in Kentucky. We serve men and women who are ready to bridge the gap between active addiction and long-term recovery.

To us, long-term recovery means more than staying away from drugs and alcohol. It means real success in a person’s life: rebuilding broken relationships, being able to help others, and having emotional and financial security. Our “three-quarter” style program lets residents keep a job and their independence while recovery stays their main focus.

Our story

Monolithic Recovery started in 2025 with a simple, stubborn belief: even the most broken lives can be rebuilt, as long as people get enough time, structure, and accountability. Too many programs don’t offer that.

We set out to build something different. Not another short-term rehab, and not a halfway house with no expectations, but a solid second-chance home for people ready to do the work.

Many of the people we serve come to us after leaving jail, detox, or another treatment program with nothing left: no money, no family to lean on, no plan, and little hope. We give them two things that are hard to find anywhere else: enough time, with stays of 3 to 24 months, and a steady structure to rebuild their lives from the ground up.

We don’t promise anyone an easy road. Recovery here is built on structure, accountability, responsibility that residents earn, and support from peers who understand. We believe the people everyone else gave up on can succeed, and we see it happen.

We don’t coddle. We rebuild—solid, earned, and built to last.

Two communities: Lebanon and Springfield, Kentucky

We run six homes in two neighboring central Kentucky communities: four in Lebanon and two in Springfield. Residents live close to work and to the people who support their recovery. You can tour our houses on our Locations page.

How our program works

Our homes are open to men and women who are 18 or older and ready to commit to their recovery. To keep every house safe for everyone who lives there, we can't accept applicants with convictions for sex crimes or arson. Beyond that, a hard past doesn't rule you out.

Residents stay with us for 3 to 24 months. Every home gives them:

• A stable, sober place to live with clear expectations and a daily rhythm

• Staff and housemates who help each person stay accountable

• Peer support from people walking the same road

• Help finding a job, plus work clothes, transportation, and help getting IDs

Monolithic Recovery Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN: 39-3669020), recognized by the IRS as a public charity. Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Donor support pays for safe, sober housing for residents getting back on their feet, life-skills training, help finding a job, work clothes, transportation, and emergency help with legal fees, IDs, and basic needs.
